Is celly actually being made illegal? What about 1K?
Loads of stories floating round at the moment about the effect of the new EU directive on solvents affecting the refinishing trade and the DIYer.

Yep, the good old European Union or whatever is it is giving solvent the chop, so we'll all have to use compliant coatings, like waterborne basecoat systems.
However, their are exceptions such as motorcycle refinishers and classic car specialists...but I'm not sure about sourcing solvent borne materials because there are European restrictions on actually manufacturing the stuff.
Personally, I wouldn't panic about it because the grey import market is extremely healthy and demand predicts that solvents will be around for a while yet!
