Has there been any thought on even just having an Annual Mag??? (just putting it out here)
Even one magazine a year still requires the editing, article input, membership address list admin, maintenance and labeling etc.
We used to do 6 magazines a year, reduced to 4 and then 3 which is where we have just finished.
The forum is here to stay.
Although all MMA members feel the cost of membership is reasonable, the easy access to information on the web and social media means there are alot of Mopar owners who don't feel the need to pay anything to get what they need.
300 paid up MMA members has been steady for many, many years, but compare that to the numbers of people out there on Facebook puts it in perspective.

Re: The final issue of Connected
Just want to say a big thank you, to Simon and all at MMA, just recieved the last ever 'Connected' magazine, and it is an honour to have our car posted in the Members Mopars.
It is a real shame the mag has to end, as newish member i only have a handful of Mags sent at initial membership sign up, love them all and i love reading a good car magazine, but i fully understand the power of the 'internet & social media world' - i hate change, but over last couple of years have grown to love things like instagram, the access to so much car life is fantastic- i have even found earlier pictures of our car on there......ok i don't personally do facebook ' yet'- But used correctly and informatively, it is a major tool....this is obvious from when i have had our 'media experts' throw something out there at work to drum up some interest...
The forum is what i really like, ok i only have a couple of post, but everyday i sign in and scan through the new posts.... i enjoy seeing the updates, skill within the group and general chit chat...
Let's bring our old skool cars to the new skool communictions....i don't know about you, but i love chatting to people about the car when i pull up at petrol station or shopping - it's always good conversations, they always want to know more... its a lot easier to say check us out on the net/ insta/ fb....they can do it instantly...
Ps, as this is the last mag and we do have the members feature, how do i get a couple more hard copies...money waiting...i have saved, by not going to the petrol station, during this sad pandemic..........and why is is the weather so bloody good at the moment.......its a double bad hit for us car nuts....
stay safe...

At some point when travel is allowed we will get the overs from the printer, and we can send out more to you then. We have back issues going back over several years so have some oldies that we will list up at some time.Russ1971scamp wrote: Wed Apr 15, 20 12:38 pm
