Great stuff Matt, I have one of those original nylon jackets in red too. Not a race one, but period style. Used it for my occasional jaunts up the strip as it has long sleeves and looks the part.
And zero fire protection

Yes I suspect it will be very sweaty and very melty if I go under the bonnet. I just like the look to go with the car,
