can someone explain the differance between, detroit locker, LSD, and a posi rear end,

Lsd is a term, limited slip differential, all you mentioned are a form of this although they work in different ways, You have a sure grip if you have one (Chryslers name/type)
To check if you have one, stick the car in neutral, jack the rear wheels off the ground, spin one, if the other rotates in the same direction you have one, although it may be worn, the best way to check this is what Pete said above
