I found a company on eBay who was selling a surplus carpet kit for my Barracuda. I got if for a very low price and shiped it over. It look's to be very well made and includes all the pieces including the trunk carpet. The only thing is the kit is red. I'm not that bothered about that just now but the carpet should be black but beggar's cant be chooser's right? As the car's a bit tatty now it wont realy matter but when I get my respray in its Original Dark Met Green It will look silly.
Is there any way to dye the carpet and make it black? If so How?
Cheers Dudes!
Hair dye works everytime, I prefer the non ammonia types as I can't breathe with ammonia in the car Clairol is good, you get little gloves and everything make sure it is permanant LOL the girl at the chemist didn't want to sell it me coz she said I would not suit black hair
'Tis true dunnow how much LOL I have 'fixed' bleached patches with it, did the tunnel hump and part of the rear floor on me Road Runner coz it is the original carpet and I wanted to keep it ! I also did the part of the capret on the Dart Dean owns now, ask him if he can figure out where ! I would guess maybe 3 bottles to do a whole carpet? use your nifty free gloves and massage it in, very therapuetic !(sp )
