Thanks , it's a lovely car to drive
The radio double up as a cluster gauge for oil pressure/temperature ,trans, temp air intake temps, voltage ect so you can actually see what's going on with the car
And as a bonus you get gforce /corner weights 0-60 timers and power output displays
Downside it's alow roof so I hit my head on hard bumps joys of being 6ft5
Sounds like a real hoot to drive. Probably the last of this type of car we will ever see as electric just isn't 'alive' in my mind. I think these newer Mopars really do grab hold of modern comforts and safety but also retain the feeling of the car coming alive when the key is turned. They still have a soul unlike many new cars. I can't see how anyone enjoys these Nissan Feather Leaf Whisp things we have now. A pal of mine has just bought a new Ford Electric Blancmange and took me out in it. Yery very bland and boring as hell. I just felt completely neutral about the whole thing. On the other hand, my old Dodge does it for me every time she fires up (he doesn't get it at all ).
I know what you mean ,it's got its refinements but the rasp on start up and the shake in the body as it turns over just ticks all the boxes for me , Mrs drives a 1.6 astra and although it's pleasant enough it's got no soul and its dull. The same as electric its fun granted in a novel way but no soul or assault on any senses
Also it's the first car I've ever driven that you can smell the amount of fuel being burnt when you give it every last bean
I think most modern cars are a little bit boring to drive as they are so forgiving and efficient. My pals electric car is very fast but it just has no noise or feeling of anything mechanical going on. It's just very very bland. Wee Greta will stop it all soon so enjoy it while you can
Been meaning to stick some pictures here for a while just to help the thread along.....finally got some time. There is a larger thread in the garage section so I have just picked a few favourite photos here. 2006 ex Marin County police Dodge Charger 5.7l hemi. Owned over 5 years got it with 110,000 now 140,000 miles but still runs super sweet. Being ex Police there was no service history with it. Since owning: new rad, new spark plugs (16 of them, recommended change at 100,000 miles), new heavy duty discs (rotors), Airraid intake, Magnaflow cat back, Daytona decals...,but have left the worn seats where the nightstick and holster have worn through. Only police kit left now is the bullbar and the spotlights. Used 3 times a week every week, right next to an A road so she is given a proper run every time, can get lots of Foodbank boxes in it, Santa Pod whenever I can, Goodwood, Speedfest, Shakey before the end, lots of good memories.

I've recently imported a Dodge Challenger Widebody Scat pack with a custom interior. Took an age, but it's finally here Been a Merc and BMW owner in the past, so this is my first Mopar car. I'm sure I might have questions to ask in the future, but just wanted to say hello : )
First port of call is to figure out if I should change the stock tyres - they really don't like the wet/cold. Really hasn't given me a lot of confidence in the car to begin with!
