Oh yes!
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Huge leap forward this weekend, now the main masking and sheeting is off, I’m really happy with the colour match. 8-)

It isn’t quite the same, in fact the more you look, the whole car is 50 shades of orange, but it’s bloody close and now I have a paint number to go by if and when more is required. :thumbright:

Feeling upbeat about getting it all back together now!

Ta muchly!

In other news, decided it was about time to learn a new skill that I keep complaining I don’t have, so scored a Facebook bargain.

This week, I will mostly be playing with old bits of metal.

I was told it’s so easy, you can do it standing on your head! :D

30 to 100 it says.

Yes, I decided on mig first, as I understood it to be more forgiving to get me going. This one just popped up this morning at the perfect moment, so I bagged it. :thumbright:

should be ok for sheet metal work, probably not enough penetration for thicker steel though. as you say mig is easy, remember to weld away from the torch (forwards), not back on itself like a stick welder. it's like a hot glue gun for metal :thumbright:
