In case we need more Brooklands pics… there might be some here that haven’t been included already from Derek, Mark, Pete, Adam… etc
It was a great day out as usual, helped by some decent weather at last. It certainly seemed well-attended, going by the flood of visitors, when the doors opened a 10am (the advantage/disadvantage of being parked right by the public entrance).
And great to see Gavin, Grant and Martin brought the 3x black 70 cudas... just a shame they couldn't get parked together...

[quote=RobTwin. just a shame they couldn't get parked together... That’s what Gavin wanted but space as you know was tight. 31 cars parked in a space for 25 cars. I couldn’t give up 3 spaces for e bodies when I needed it for b bodies, maybe if they had got there earlier

yes I was just stirring the hornets nest
Gavin said he was told you/Karen didn't want 3 black cudas together as no one would pay any attention to them
Apart from that, it was an impressive display and you did well to get them all parked, with a couple of large 'uninvited' cars too

Don't know about hornets nest more like Bananarama!, most of the public that came our way would just see 3 black cars and not have a clue as to what they are. anyway it was all down to space.
How did you get all your pics to be the right way up and not side ways like some of mine.

there is one that's not right (brown 39 Ford engine) that I couldnt get to show correctly
It's only if you take a photo 'portrait'. If it's 'landscape' you shouldn't have a problem. So numpties who just use a mobile and take everything 'portrait' ("cos that's how they need to be for Instagram"?) will struggle to get anything to show correctly on here... but as none of our members are numpties, I'm sure there wont be any such problems
I know Simon's got a system but I haven't managed to get it to work every time
Knockout pictures again Rob!!
It was a great day and nice to have some good weather for a change! Nice to see that Mercury Cyclone Spoiler! They gave the Mopars so many problems in the 68, 69 season at NASCAR! and led to the development of the Superbird and Daytona!! Happy days!!
