Just thought I'd update everyone,

After some deliberation, I'd decided to sell the car & it has now passed into the hands of some mates of Blue's, Chris & Roydon who are going to carry on the restoration. I've been toying with the idea of selling for a while, due to a lack of time, lack of decent facilities & a health issue which has arisen which has made work on the car more difficult. The completion of the fabrication work on the shell seemed like a good point to stop.

I'm gutted, but at the same time happy that it's gone to the right people who have a lot more knowledge than me on these cars & will make a proper job of it. It probably still wouldn't be finished in another 10 years in my ownership!

Many thanks to Blue, Chris & Roydon who have been completely fair & respectful of my situation, no nonsense & basically top blokes.

Thanks also for everyone's positive comments on here throughout the build, you're a great bunch, with none of the crap you get on some forums.

I'll still be lurking & following everyone's builds!

Cheers guys :thumbright: :salute:

Sorry to hear that life has got in the way, hope all is ok and your health improves.

I think you’ve done a great job to get it this far and the metalwork looks great. Good to know that it’s gone to about the best home it could have done for an A Body in need of care.

All the best.
