Love it.

Interesting to see the differences between the 2 designs. Looks like the leading edge of the Bird is a bit lower than the Daytona? Maybe less front end lift?
Must say I prefer the Daytona front.

The height may be due to Torsion Bar Adjustment.

Hands down, the Daytona is a better car, better finished and more attractive.

I always wanted a Daytona with a 'Bird Wing as I prefer the shape!!!!

Like I always wanted a '69 Charger with '68 Rear Lights!!! I'm a bit odd like that!

With you on the Charger lights! :thumbright:

But I'd prefer a 69 500 cos I'm even odder! :geek:

Great photo Pete....two very special cars there. That should be in one of those 'Dream Garages' books. You must be so chuffed to have owned and enjoyed cars like that!!!

Twenty years ago….that’s when I first started paying attention to Mopar. Where has that time gone? #-o

Agree that photo would be ideal for a nostalgia book. What a pair of vehicles…did you have that garage custom built, there’s no way standard UK garages would take them!

I was lucky that there was a (crap) garage was already there, and the base was in good condition, so a replacement was easily purchased and erected.

I had the coldest dampest workshop in the world back then, don’t know how I stuck it out for so long when I think back…

Great car, awful location, I used to dread visiting in the winter for the cold and damp, and in the summer for the variety of "Visitors" that would wander into the yard.....
