These are the proposed dates for Manston along with a bit of info, sorry it’s a long post.

I know that most of the group I go racing with at the Pod are planning at least one visit to Manston. 👍

Manston Raceway Park 2025 Event Dates. (Provisional, subject to council events license being granted)
Inaugural opening Event
12th - 13th April Saturday and Sunday 2025
Second Event 3rd - 5th May Saturday to Monday 2025
Third Event 7th - 8th June Saturday and Sunday 2025
Fourth Event 26th - 27th July Saturday and Sunday 2025
Fifth Event 23rd - 25th August Saturday - Monday 2025
Sixth Event 13th - 14th September Saturday - Sunday 2025
Last Event 4th- 5th October Saturday and Sunday 2025.
I have done my very best to avoid any major full National Event Dates at Santa Pod Raceway. If we clash with anything else, my apologies, it is not ever intentional.
There is a possibility we may run a test Day on the Friday on two day events, this would be subject to economics, staffing and council approval.
This is a grass roots Drag Strip and the classes we intend to run will reflect that. It's 1/8th mile No Prep. We will mainly run heads up classes. We will have a timing system in place, if required. The details of the classes we intend to run will be posted soon. There will be a few surprises I can guarantee you that.
If there are any organisations/ informal classes that would be interested in running at MRP. Now is the time to contact us and see if we can accommodate you. We already have two dates spoken for. Therefore, contact us sooner rather than later.
We should have space for others. Message us here or call Paul on 07831 650230. The whole point of a grass roots track is this is where you start, this is where you come to learn and have fun. Then maybe make to move up to National Event Competition.
Once again I must acknowledge the help and guidance I have received from Santa Pods upper management, thank you.

Unfortunately, the events etc only look to be a short term thing till construction works start Spring 26 :( Unless construction delays are incurred of course etc

-----------------------

A series of large scale events have been pencilled in to take place at Manston airport next year.

An air show is publicised to return for the first time in more than a decade, an ‘extravaganza’ of classic cars and music from artists including the current East 17 line up and drag racing dates are currently being promoted.

Airport site owners RSP say the plan is to have cargo planes in operation at Manston in mid-to end 2028. This leaves the site available for other uses, dependent on event and CAA permissions, in the run up to construction works in Spring 2026.
