Disc Conversion Parts.....now SOLD

Post by Vince »

...........................For Sale...........................

11.3/4" Disc conversion parts . Sometimes referred to as the 12"inch cop car disc setup.
This kit of parts requires using a spindle that has the larger rear bearing.
The knuckles for doing a swap were found on any 1973-74 E Body and any 1973-76 disc equipped A Body. Repros are available.
The rotors in this kit are a one piece UNICAST hub/rotor assy first seen in 1976 on cop cars of the period, and are much stronger than earlier style rotors.
The calipers shown here are the K-H pin type disc pad retainers and come with the large adapters.
The rotors have both front and rear bearings installed together with rear seals.
All parts in nice (low mileage condition) ready to use.
The following 2 web articles below give a good explanation of how this conversion goes together.
I seem to remember a while back Rick Ehrenberg was offering a large bearing adapter for fitting to small spindles so the big rotors could be
used.
....£225....Pickup only....SOLD....
If interested you're welcome to come and check the parts out first.
