without looking back through the whole thread, does the car have a front spoiler? you know those trans am type ones? if not that'd go well with the rear one you've fitted.

No, just factory other than the hood. Trying to lose weight off the nose, so won’t be adding anything else, I’ve also got a fibreglass gravel pan that will be going on over the winter at some point.

No, I want to keep the wings steel. I think it’s pretty much as it will stay now, in terms of body and interior.

No period-style sign writing? Would look good with 'Floyd Bros' on the doors 8-) :D

I still have something in mind, but it’s at the back of the list!

Back from Jim’s, he’s done a great job in double quick time!

Had ali heads and manifold, new rocker gear, plus a higher stall converter that I wanted to get done before Dragstalgia, so decided to call in the cavalry so I knew it would be done in time with no issues.

Over to Jim’s and a few days later, much betterer! 😎

Drove back tonight, felt great, think it should all make a good bit of difference at the track.

Did a bit of glove box-ery just before it went to Jim’s.

The ignition is now under the dash, so the standard glove box wouldn’t fit. Fed up of chasing my shades round the floor, but also fed up of flimsy board glove boxes, I made templates and set about using some thin ali sheet to make a new one that fitted.

Not a thing of beauty, but it’ll do the job.

Obviously didn’t want it rattling, so nipped to Hobbycraft and picked up this self adhesive backed felt to line it with.

Simple in principle, but a bit of a ballache as it wants to stick to everything and is quite stretchy, but got there in the end.
