For sale

Dodge B300 van. 360ci V8, auto trans, power steering, power brakes disks front drums rear. California van from new till 2018 when it shipped to UK. Solid van no body work required, underside has never been under sealed so no hidden surprises. Roof rails had the usual van issue with sealer cracking and work needed, roof and gutters were stripped back to bare metal, repairs carried out and fully repainted. Caravan style roof vent window fitted. Most of the rest of paint is original, it is a bit flat with age and covered in the scrapes and dints of being a working van. New windscreen and door rubbers. Brakes and steering have been gone through with required parts replaced such as shoes, cylinders, master cylinder all ball joints. Steering box mounting point which is a common failure point has been strengthened and steering adjusted. Cast iron intake with 2bbl replaced with ali Edelbrock intake and Holley 4bbl carb. Heater gone through, working great. Engine mounts replaced. Exhaust upgraded to twin side entry (in front of rear wheels) stainless system after manifolds. All external lights, taillights and side markers in great condition and all lights working. Inside has been treated and painted in two pack on floors, triso-super10 insulation installed in roof and walls, then walls ply lined with shag carpet, roof is fibre boarded with leatherette, all door cards are in same leatherette. Rear three seat crash tested rock and roll bed that has three x three point seatbelts attached to it, bed it full width and around 6’6” long, there is space underneath for storage/spare wheel. There is an extra storage unit that can make a foot stool, also doubles up as rest for and extra bed that’s a single, lays behind both cab seats. Makes it a four berth camper. Original cab buckets with swivel recliner base on passenger side. There is an intelligent leisure battery charger system installed behind driver seat with 12v fuse box to power rear lights. Side storage in same shag carpet as walls that is removable, has space to cover leisure battery with storage, additional storage and a further area that can house a thetford porta loo. Flooring has underlay and carpet fitted with ali edge trim. Being a maxi it has 8lug wheels, set of 16” 8” front 10”rear wheels with good tyres. Front under bumper spoiler. Front grill is in great condition. All gauges work. Alpine face off head unit fitted with retro looking speakers. Flip gas gap from a Charger/Challenger with lockable cap under. New gas tank rubbers and sender. One key fits all locks and ignition. There is a tow hitch bracket with US wiring (would need checking for UK compatibility). It has a set of states plates number plates as well as correct UK plates in black and chrome. New battery fitted. Old vehicles will always need something doing or fixing, but that said this is a ready to use and go camping van with that extra bit of room over a shorty. It’s tax and mot exempt. Insurance is obviously classic and cheap (for me it’s £140ish with £20k agreed value on drive). It is a lot of fun to drive, pulls like a train and easily gets to the speed limits with plenty more to give. Reason for putting up for sale is a mixture of life things that mean that it’s just not getting used. Asking £13,750 will listen to sensible offers, no trades, located in Harlow Essex about ten min from J7 M11.
