It’s almost complete now apart from interior and glass
Still looks as good as the day it was coloured
Hang on. What this V12 4 speed E?
I think we need more info and pics!

Probably one more blocking session before the last primer coats,
You must be exhausted by now. Blocking body work is very tiring.

Haha I was speaking figuratively, my project car ,
But it belongs the the now retired owner of the coach company I work for,
As does the container!
I’m just a minion,
The cars almost done now but basically no longer particularly desirable,
Cost vs value is a sticky matter now,
My TA is passion so I’m not overly concerned with what it cost me plus my labour is free,

And yes blocking can be tough work but as it’s some of the final stages towards colour, and the entire shell is fully sealed one can just do an hour here and there
And not absolutely knackar oneself!

Started preparing the front quarters and got one in epoxy
And almost fully de rusted the third member, yet another horrible job and a fight for every single square inch!

Been flat out the last two days
And almost finished the fuel tank at work so still moving forward!

I flatted the underside, re epoxied and then coloured wet on wet , left it overnight and then flatted , PU’d the seams then on with the flat black on the bulkhead,

Also got the axle in clear over base black

Running out of time now so it’s very unlikely I’ll get the shell in colour now ,

And I’ve been called for jury service so there’s two to three weeks I’ll be tied up!

Haha I’m kinda hoping that’s going to happen!
However with my luck I’ll get a proper bummer case!

I get out of it everytime (I know exactly what to say on an email) as its generally a complete and utter waste of everyones time, time that would be better spent painting your car :salute:

Amazing progress! :thumbright:
