Rapids 80's photos
Here's my first batch of 80's photo's, this lot is from the first Mopar run to Brighton that I attended in 82.
We arrived on a roof carpark somewhere there, cant recall where. The beige Dart is my mine a few months after I got it.
Next is Steve Rawlings 4 Spd 440 6 pack 70 Challenger R/T
And Garry Mills 6 pack Cuda (I've written on the back of the photo that it runs 12.4's)
69 Hemi Roadrunner, it was a gorgeous car, no idea who's it was but I believe it was newly imported
I have no idea where these last two photos came from there not mine but I seem to have them
More to follow

One more photo from that trip, I spotted this Dart Swinger in a Hotel/B&B carpark on my way out of Brighton, looked in really good nick.

Thanks, load more to come
Re: Rapids 80's photos
Thanks Mark, I knew they'd be worth waiting for
Wasn't the black (or very dark blue) 69 rr, Jim Wilson's? The memory's not what it used to be

At the time we bought our Sport Satellite (40 years ago), the only 69 roadrunners we knew were this one and Dave Wright's Super Gas car,, so I blame them

40 years, you both deserve an award for that
I don't recall ever seeing that Hemi Roadrunner again after 82

Spoke to soon, as I'm scanning in photos from the 83 Mopar run I spot the Roadrunner

Do you remember Kev Martin? He lives down near the south coast now but I think he was a bit further north 'back in the day'. We were looking at some of his photos a couple of years ago that he took early 80's and some of you guys featured... well he still has the same 71 Satellite he bought in 1979

Great pics, keep them coming
It's slightly painful to think how long ago this was now
