Flat heads

Anyone know anything about early Chrysler flat heads. A new member has a 49 Chrysler and wants some info on basic tuning, plug gaps, what oil to use , basic servicing etc.
Please help.

not any help, but are we starting to pick up members from the defunct Chrysler Corp Club now?

Yes we are, so I need to try to be able to offer some back up for the additional cars that we will see in our midst. We have joined up this week a 49 Chrysler, a 1995 New Yorker and mot long ago a 57 Imperial Southampton.

other than asking on moparchat.com or moparts I can't help on that one, too old even for me! Nice to see some fellow "big car" people turning up though
