Charger escaped from garage

Post by GeneralWee »

Just thought I'd put a pic of my Charger on for all to see!!
Just about to fit the pipes, then hopefully he's up and running!!
Just paint and trim to do then.
Cheers.

Finished fitting the exhausts properly today.I had to remove the boxes because I blew them up, whilest trying to start for the first time.It was the loudest backfire I have ever heard!!
It shook the dust from the ceilings and made my ears ring!! nearly blew the garage door off.
So here's a pic of the under side, and one of the "500bhp" turbo mufflers a bit worse for wear!!
I will be returning them under warranty......NOT!

Been busy since I last posted, but dragged the old General out to have a real push at getting it finished.
Taken absolutely ages to rebuild the grill, as it was smashed to bits, and melted!!!!
They sell a really good 2 part glue at Maplins, that will glue the type of material the grill is made from.Takes 24hrs but very strong.
Just trim, some wiring, screen and a few other jobs to do.
