Christ, the body on that thing is gorgeous. Straight as a die and no filler. You must be well chuffed.

That will be a great car when its done. :)

Dead right Clivey, I wish mine was as half as good as that when I started!
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

Jim, that body is to die for. This is probably the wrong moment to mention this, but did you need to take it back to bare metal? :drwho:

Oh, and I'd go for the black longtitudinal stripe too, especially if you are fitting a vinyl roof.

maybe your starting position was a little worse, but the end result doesnt let on.

Dont get sensitive on us Uncle Ivor, your 70 Plymmie is gorgeous too, :D :D

There was a lot of paint on the old girl it had been repainted over the original paint and i slapped a load of primer over that about 17 years ago so it all had to come off.There is quite a bit of filler in the front of the front fenders the bottom of both rear quarters are quite rusty also along one sill.Here's today's pic's
