as always there are exceptions, yes, cars in general are female. but the General was always referred to as male in the series and Phill introduced the finished vehicle as " here

In the same vein Clive is going to paint his Charger blue and call it the Mrs Thatcher.
Does that mean when mine's finally painted Black I can call it George Galloway ?

Just seen this car down at the Aldershot show - good to meet you Phill and if you lot think this car looks good in the pictures you simply wont believe the finished product.
I went to Covington back in 2003 for the 25th anniversay generalleefanclub meet (where there must have been 50 cars) and I struggle to see a car that was better than this.
