hi all, due to me twiddlin things i know i should leave alone, my trans pan gasket now leaks :oops: got some new cork ones, but dave was on about steel ones, who supplies these in the uk any one know???

Didn't say steel mate.

Rubberised maybe. I don't like cork as it is not as re-usable.

Cometic are in the process of doing ally ones for us, these are coated with AFM material both sides, same as the 440 sump gaskets we have.

I know this is no use to you Trev but they won't be too long now

I know he is expensive but I think Hauser sells the rubberised ones.

my mate brought a filter service kit back from the states for me a couple of months back , it came with both cork and rubber gaskets and cost less than $5 so you should be able to get one here for under £10. i will see if i still have the box , if so i will let you know the manufacturer and part number.

thanks trev, that would be good, put the new cork one i got off dunc in for now, but will have the pan off again as i want a drain plug fitting into it bye for now trev
