Challenger Trim Question
Hi all, what's this bit's official name? I could do with finding a new one but it helps to know what it's called first!

I would call that a front valance trim or moulding (look for molding as well if you are search in US speak, they sometimes spell it wrong
).
I'm no expert, but I'm not sure this is reproduced. There are a couple on Ebay but they are used.

You're right, they didn't!!
All kinds of cars they never made on E-Bay!!!!
I take it your car is an SE - I believe it only came standard on them (though knowing Chrysler maybe there was another way to order it too!!)

Nah, my car's a '72 hotrod that's been modded in a, shall we say, 'aggressive' manner. Numbers matching, it isn't and will never be again! But it was a bargain
Originally it was a base 318, now it's got a nitrous-equipped 383 with a scoop etc.
I'm returning it slowly to a stock outward appearance, something that at least looks like it was made by Chrysler, but more interested in it looking nice than being 'correct'. The focus is to have it off the road for as little time as possible, should be a challenge! What was fitted if there was no valance 'molding'? Nothing at all? Obviously I mean on a '71, the '72 has a small plastic trim that sits proud of the valance opening and is, in my case, in poor condition.
