Morgans 68 Charger

Post by morgan »

Well - Its been a long wait, but here she is...

68 Charger, 318 (seems to have a 4 barrel and a cam in it, goes quite well really...). Gearbox seems to run fine but needs adjustment (I hope !).
Needs some TLC (Chrome pitting and polish mainly) - Really nice unmolested interior , just needs driver seat sorting.

YES - I am going to get the car re-registered to an 'F' !

Plan is to spend the next few weeks sorting the immediates and hopefully see you all at the Nats !

I have been amazed by public reaction... Kinda cool, kinda scary.

Happy man :D

UPDATE -

Couple of interesting option codes having decoded the Fender tag -

Seems she was spec'd for export so there are some bits on there which I would associate with a higher spec car despite only being a 318. (tictoctac, remote mirror etc). Wonder where she was exported to ? (pre here of course).

Nice looking car! Seems a pretty good car that needs very little, but just enough to make it your own. Crying out for a set of states plates when you get it re-registered, pop over and meet us at the next Stevenage Mopar night if you get the chance. Watch out for black lines on that block paving.....

Thanks chaps - kind words indeed.

Like alot of them , she looks better in the photos than reality -she is what I believe is known as a '10 footer' ! :)

Hopefully when I get the wheels sorted (really dont like the ones on there) ,the brightwork and seat done she will look much better. (plus of course a new registration and black plate ! )

Hopefully I've got a good base, and even the colour is growing on me !

Morgan.
