If you are not bothered about originality why not use the later light weight ally/plastic version? Not a completely straight swap but not too bad a job.

If you want to go light weight go for one with a bore of one inch or less. Also it is important that you DO NOT use one from a front wheel drive car. I think you can get them new from Geof Hauser?

These things were fitted on all Mopars from the late 1970s/early 1980s onwards so you could find a used one if you wanted although I don't think they are that expensive to buy new.

However they mount with two studs instead of four so you need to make an adapter or buy the Mopar performance adapter which used to need opening up a bit to fit.

You guys have been a great help.

I've managed to order one now and it should be here Monday from US Automotive....Very helpful.

Now that I can take pictures and post them I'm gonna keep em coming.
