KYB front shocks on a C body

I can get them in, it is hard to start them off but once they are going they will squish..then you just got to be quick ! good luck and watch yer fingers :roll:

Eat more spinach

could you not use stiffer wire like fencing wire or even coathangers?

Did you undo the tosion bar adjusters? The manual suggests that the shocks go straight up through the gap in the bottom arm,KYBs are about 1/8th" too big in diameter for that. :)

I've never had a problem with them. Yours must be a lot stiffer than the ones on my e-body.

They do come already compressed. I guess one option would have been to get them in position before removing the plastic tie holding them compressed?

what was the unusual method you used? If I ever get back onto doing mine I was going to fit KYBs...
