New Crank Kit For stroked 383 B-Block

Post by Dave-R »

Hughes Engines have brought out a crank kit for the 383 engine.

It allows you to fit a 440 crank in the standard block giving 434 cubic inches and compression choices from 9:1 up.

The kit is just over $2K but includes modified 440 crank and all bearings, rods, pistons, rings etc.

Could be the answer for people looking for ways to up the compression and performance on their 383 engines (good compression pistons are impossible to find!)
