3rd gear shift

Went to santa pod last weekend on the way gearbox was fine.Had 3 runs up the strip.But on the way home all the gears were fine apart from 3rd it now takes a lot higher speed/ revs to change into 3rd the fluid level is ok any ideas ? thanks steve ps first time up the strip great fun i can,t wait to do it again.

Adjust the kickdown linkage and kickdown band. See If that works.

When i've experienced that it has been corrected by kickdown adjustment, like Dave sez.

if once you have checked the linkage and that is ok if it is still late shiftin it points to the high gear clutch on the way out also if by gentley squeezin the throttle it drops to 2nd that also is a sign off a bad high gear clutch

adjusted the linkage and it all seems fine now thanks to all for your help steve
