Good luck Trev... !

Taking me long enough to get round all the odds-n-sods on my car - The exhaust took me nearly 2 weeks ! !

Keep going with the pics.

PS - Trivia - There are different 440 engines arent there ? Earlier ones more desirable (?) Why ? And what is the difference ?

the most up to date big block Mopar engine building book is
Big block Mopar performance by Chuck Senatore, he started Muscle Motors and knows his stuff.
Up to date parts and advice and Tuning....non of those old 60's / 70's reprints...this is the new Bible. 8-)

hi mate, alternator is fine now i have a new one, im wondering tho if the lack of volts was limiting my sparks and leading to a lack of power?

i would have loved to have got that 383 into the 14's, came away with a 15.1 :( might go to york if there is another run what ya brung, have to see tho' as i dont want to waste money at the mo coz of me engine build up.
been busy last night and today, got most of the raggy casting flashes off,
then went to my mates factory, and put the block in their ex m.o.d hot tank  after that, into all the holes with brushes, then a final tosh over with degreaser followed by a good jetwash, dryed the block off with paper towels, used hss2000 on the bores and machiened surfaces, and ac90 on the rest of the block to repel moisture, now awaiting paint and parts :)
