line lock/roll control question

It obviously makes sense to use the line lock to shut of your rear brakes.
Hold the button on the shift lever then press the brake pedal, FULL CONTROL RIGHT.
Had this system all along and the right system as i am concerned and many others will agree.
Let your foot of gently and and you will have full control off a rolling BURNOUT with out BURNING your rear BRAKES.

I dont have one.....Stop plant the gas in 1st and lift off the brake,and change up into 2nd then 3rd and ease off the gas to roll out....no problem.
no burnt brakes, no switches.... just smoke.
My rear does move around quite a bit though
Had a few problems this year by following the J.W. intructions start your burn out in 2nd then up to 3rd.....it didnt like it at all !! so after 2 attempts i went back to the 123 burnout faultless.

Lockers
Iv'e just plumbed my line lock( planned to do it b4 Nats) but wont know if its front or back till I wire it up
What about 2 locks
1 Roll in use front lock - do burn out -unswitch.
2 Roll to stage momentry switch both locks on.
3 Floor it both locks released with full throttle switch via relay.

I agree with you AL, I never needed it on the Trans-am cos she just lays it down hard and i like creeping forward as far as i can as you can see on the mopar Nat's DVD 2003 but after taking your Charger down mate the rear line lock is the way to go used to use it on rally cars myself so you had pivot control on gravel round hairpins keeping rear wheels spinning and left foot breaking on the front so its a natural step for me. will add it to my Charger for sure. rock on mopar brother! O yes AL, well done on ya Moonshine shoots!!!!

Switch on stick or steering wheel
press button at stage,
Stage rpm is set and release switch full rpm

Sure! in the Nat's DVD I'm on BF G's and they when hot do get sticky but have had set of wide slicks on her and she's still got enough torque to rip as Pontiac Big blocks are well known but having had a go at what Alan's set up its a good way of holding her there and then slowly rolling out down the track total line lock on the front maybe the right way to go for a out and out track car but remember these cars aren't and also do more "For Show" burn outs on the street for fun so rolling burn outs are more of an appeal. anyway soon as you come out of the hole you let of both button and breaks but re break for stage thus regaining fluid control to the rears. No rears on his then then and it would have been loads worse...
