thanks for the comments guys I lower it a bit when racing(on air shocks),when I eventually get it resprayed I think I`ll have the same colour, just a couple of splits in upholstery to sort out,but I`m really happy with the car, have made a few mods since I got the car last march: reverse pattern manual valve body,self modified standard shifter,"391" gears & suregrip,manual steering box etc." orange box",holley 750 vac. sec. carb,holley 5" filter,headers & 2 1/2" exhaust, & a dent in the front bumper& bonnet trim :oops: ,should I try to repair the bumper or just get fibreglass ones?? any ideas on this?

I would try and get original or repair for such a fine looking machine. 3.91 gears - mmm sweet 8)

thanks commander I suppose your right! I was showing my wife some cars with `glass bumpers at the nats & she said she liked the chrome ,better,so I guess she`ll win :lol:

yes a dual with a metal post ( I couldn`t see it over bonnet :oops: ),& I lost!! thanks for the input

at last some "proper " tyres! knocked 4 tenths off straight away! need to lower the pressures still further though, 13.2 at the nats.................not on these tyres though,on kumo`s!

That is a lovely Coronet.

Vince Donald from Woking has just bought in a similar car from the States. It looks like the same colour. 383 Auto. 'Parked it next to his 69 1/2 Six Pack Bee.

Look out for it next year with a stroker motor, - nuff said.

hopefully into the 12`ves soon,13.2 at the pod on kumo street tyres, thanks for the comment about the interior Ian 8-) going to put the arch trims back on(should have enough clearance now with the new tyres/wheels ) thanks to everybody elses comments really appreciated :D
