Jim's Harley

Post by Jim »

I've just gotta say how much I love my new Harley.

This is my 4th Harley Davidson, - and I like this one best.
It's a Softtail Deuce with the Twin CAM 88 1450cc motor.
I managed to get a DEUCE reg for it from the dvla.

I don't normally ride with the luggage attached, (they are just throw over bags). - Jan and I went away on it last weekend, -and got soaked. Oh well, it had to be christened sooner or later.

Those pipes make lots of noise, and I ride it with a permanant grin on my face.

What happened Mal? No HD now?

Hi Andy,

I have considered buying a Street Rod too. I tried one and didn't want to give it back. - brilliant for bendy A roads. But Jan couldn't get her feet on the passenger footpegs. - They are fashionably high, but useless for anyone whose teens are a distant memory.

There are three things in life I would hate to be without:
My Jan
My Mopar
My Harley

C'mon John. Post a couple of pics of you and your Fat Boy.
(and see if the members can tell which is which!)

I told Jan. - While i can still get my leg over it, I will always ride one.
(A Harley of course)

It's great to have a Harley for putting around on the weekends.
I can recommend it!
