What colour?

Post by Anonymous »

Hey guys.

I'm now starting to think about the Coronet's re-paint and wondered if I could get some of your opinions on colour....

I found this picture on an MSN site which is the exact colour I thought of changing to....although I do think that this shape really suits white, I also like the blue with white roof

Love that powder blue/white combo. I think the blue is poss a '63/4 colour? I'd be tempted to go for an off white/ivory to give some depth to polish :)

An excellent colour combo, do it! An off white would look good for the roof. Regarding the wheels, I think it's a bit slab sided for a chrome smoothie rim, how about five spokes? I think you need a bit of wheel detail to break it up a bit....

The colours are probably
Turquoise....Lucite No.4369- L....... or Dulux 93-96538
Pale Blue ...Lucite No 4366- L...... or Dulux 93-96536
Blue Metallic,,,Lucite No 4424-L...... or Dulux 181-96589 this is also an interior colour.
Lucite are the Old paint supply codes they might not cross reference, you might have better luck with the Dulux.
Sorry to be an Anorak but it might help finding the colour
The pale blue looks to be right on the money
and i think chrome smoothies will make it look like a cruiser..go with the 15" five spoke ARE's with the unpolished/ grey spokes 8-)
