Stuart; From the point of view of someone who has recently taken a first step into classic mopar ownership, I understand the sensible advice the experienced MMA members have given. I took a different approach - didn't think about too much for too long, just made a positive decision and decided to deal with it whatever happened. I had no idea what I as looking at when buying my Roadrunner and fortunately for me things have worked out well so far. Naturally I'm a bit of a ditherer - struggle to make decisions one way or another on most things...but I decided that life is too short for that approach any more, so just rolled the dice. I just think that sometimes we can be too careful and it can be good to make a decision...even a bad one. The disclaimer is, clearly, sometimes things can ŵork out the way you don't want. That can smart but not as much - for me - as doing nothing.
Good luck with the search, your car is out there waiting for you....somewhere.
What do you think of this

The Mopar Nats is only a couple or so months away & I know it's a large proportion of the 'summer months' to lose, but it might be worthwhile putting off a rush decision till then.
You will get the opportunity to see the biggest collection of Mopars within the UK & covering all spectrums of car types & in various conditions. It will give you the chance to talk face to face with folks & chances of catching a ride are far greater.
In addition there is the possibility of some cars being for sale & to make an offer for those that aren't for sale.
Agree too........Said the same on your Pistonheads thread Stuart!Carl wrote:![]()
Sound advice.
Rushing this could possibly cost you thousands and you'll end up making do.......Then i can guarantee the perfect car will pop up within a month that you'll sell your spleen for (Murphys Law)!

Agree Marks post was bang on.
Everything has a price IMO. You may just have to have a car that isn't advertised for sale. Happens all the time and more often than not it can work.
One person gets the car of their dreams. The other a good price reflective of all the effort , time and money spent on said car !
