I've been sent 64 pictures of the car (underneath, boot, engie bay, interior etc) and it all looks very nice indeed

ok its in Germany, but thats not a deal breaker but is the price realistic? I know "things are worth what someone will pay" but is it fair for a dealer.
Tbh its about £7k more than i'd originaly planned but it 'll give me an idea of what things are going for,

(obviously I'm not a bjg fan of red ;) )

Nice condition I must admit from what i can see in the pics, but a lot of money I think its too expensive personally. I have a 340 4 speed numbers matching 72 RR which has a 416ci stroker and is an original petty blue so even rarer and i paid a quater of that price, but its not 100% I must admit.

This is that car I think

sorry that would never sell in the uk for anything like that price, but you never know in europe, wait & go to the shows this summer, if you that kind of cash to spend you will buy a much better muscle car than that

If thats your realistic budget then i would seriously consider looking at cars in the US!

Much bigger pool of cars to choose from!

Just my 2p's worth!

All German cars are higher priced. That's why our cars go there. The Germans consider our cars good value.
If you have that much cash, go to the states, surely. Endless options.

Well, I might have "the cash"at the moment, but unfortunately it came at a price and I won't have it again so I need to learn as much as I can about my options.
This car was too expensive for me but it was interesting to hear opinions on this car as a benchmark so thanks again.

If you have that kind of cash why not buy that 73 charger dunc's got for sale and do a pucker resto on it?

I haven't got the skills or the time to do a. Full restoration on a car, I need one that's good already ( no offence to Duncs Car- I haven't seen it.)
I must stress though, I haven't got a pot of cash burning a hole in my pocket (I wish  )I can only admire the skills and dedication of those who have got the ability and determination to return a car to its previous glory. Paying someone else to do it can be expensive and you don't always get the level of expertise you were expecting in my experience,
What I have got thought is a need to know what I am going to have to spend to buy the sort of car I want. Unfortunately prices are high, which is good news for sellers ( I sold my Lancia back to Italy again for a very healthy-profit a few years ago) but bad news for the likes of me :?
Hopefully the knowledge that's passed on to me here with your help will help me make a sensible purchase sometime in the future.

Edit: I've just look at Duncan's thread and I think it's a manual 4 speed and unfortunately I have to have an auto now :(

Thats fair enough stuart, though there are some very good body shops who specialze in these cars on this side of the pond too. If your looking for an Auto, then the red road runner isn't the car for you its a manual as well

thanks, i noticed that in the pictures and the wording of the original advert, The German guy still denying it though :?

One thing i hope to pick up here is recommendations for good body shops who specalise in these cars.
