Jeff,
Do you write all the types of cars & changes you like on individual pieces of paper, put them in a bowl & pull one out on a weekly basis . . .
Some one said you were restless, they weren't far wrong, so far on this thread you have gone from;
Sell the fury
Keep the Fury
2 door - 4 Door Fury
Big Block -Small Block Fury
Changing the look of your Fury
Gremlins
Your old A100
Ford
Dusters
Good to keep everyone on their toes

Mark...... I am my own worst enemy mate! Sometimes I pity my wife.
It was easier back in the UK..... Now wherever I go, I see a car I want!

A guy is coming Saturday, with a truck and a trailer.. So lets see what happens.
If it goes, then that will be it for old cars for me. I really don't get a thrill out of it any more.

When you've lost your desire for old cars Jeff, the next thing to happen is your willy goes floppy, you'll get an overwhelming desire for beige trousers with an elasticated waist, the grey slip on shoes and a nice cheese cutter cap.
Jeff.
GET A GRIP MATE!

Ivor, it happend once before... When I had the 2 door post '57 Chevy... I came back to it. But for now, I don't really have the interest.
I have put a lot of miles on the Fury, it has been used most days since last March... If it goes, I will clear out the garage, and perhaps look for something I can tinker with in the garage... But nothing drivable.
Really fancy an old Triumph (2 wheels)...
Or a new style pick up that I can paint up and use all year round.
We will see, depends what happens tomorrow..... The first snow hit last night, so I have to get busy clearing the garage... Perhaps that will spur me along.

So the guy called last night.... Asked if it was OK to come 8.30 Sunday morning. As he has managed to borrow a 4x4 pickup truck and an enclosed trailer. It is also a 5 hour drive for him.
I said it was OK, but can only spare an hour, as Billy is riding in a Toronto demonstration event tomorrow. He was happy. 10 hour round trip!?
Do you think he might be serious?

He turned up.... Really liked the car. Then pulled out a whole wad of cash money. $5,000! "That is all I have" he said. "Bye", I said and went indoors.
£3100 for that car, He must think I an dumb, or desparate. He made a 7 hour round trip........ What is wrong with people? Did he think I would melt when I saw the cash?

After a very busy few months. The Fury was bought out of hibernation, Late July and it has emerged into the 30+ degrees we have had for weeks and weeks. It fired up first go, then all the problems I had last year emerged.
So, looking for a LA motor to replace the Poly. No time for a motor that needs work. It has to be a runner, need to swop it out quickly, then perhaps get some time on the street.
Finally have some spare cash in the bank, and all the bills up to date. Fingers crossed it carries on.

Nice to see you back after hibernation, Jeff.
Back to the Fury, big block sleeper instead of small block?
