Oooh spot the bits ! Ford IAC valve ! Ford connector on the lambda sensor, looks like a Weber/Marelli ECU. Bosch pump?
Those i.a.c. valves are junk btw unless you clean 'em all the time!
Makes sense to use aWeber ECU as they have plug & play EPROMS

Didn't Edelbrock buy Weber?

I know Eddy carbs have Weber on them these days but I would be suprised if it was not the other way around, Weber are huge but ya never know !

Interesting to note that Magnetti Marelli make and test the carbs and throttle bodies which makes me believe that it is indeed a Weber ECU as the two companies work hand in hand, I think Edelbrock stands alone but calls on the other two companies for assistance etc, interesting stuff ! have a poke about on the Eddy website and see if you come to the same conclusion

i reckon to set one of these up youd have to get a clue so if i'd have to study all about it then i could do it on the cheap, based on stock or ally inlet like these are
http://www.jenvey.co.uk/~Bodies1.htm or was it these
http://www.jenvey.co.uk/~Bodies1.htm
could salvage some scrap stuff.

Jenvey throttle bodies are very nice indeed, a good product, DTA use Jenvey T/B's in there system so I have had dealings with them.
Bolting it all together is easy, setting it up takes some skill though tust me!

Edelbrock is a separately share holder owned company. Vic Edelbrock Jnr is buying back all the stock and options in whatever the reverse of a floatation is. He's rather have 100% control of his own company than the money. I forget the amount it said he'd had to pay to get all the shares back to "de-float" but it was huge.
Edelbrock bought Carter didn't they?
Webcon (owners of Weber) and Edelbrock jointly market some carbs and other parts.
IIRC Webcon is listed on the Italian stock market?

But didn't Weber buy Carter first? There must be some sort of working/financial relationship if not a corporate one.
