Hi clive,
I have a manifold with the same casting number and no holes on the front(sorry canonball has got first dibs on it). Are the holes cast in or have they just been drilled through the wall, you can normally tell becase with a casting you will get a small ridge around the hole on the outside and inside edges if its supposed to be there or just a plain tapped hole that can crack radially, if its the latter could have been for an aftermarket vacuum gauge?Just my two pennies worth.I weighted the manifold because I was going to post it to Duncan 25.5kgs bare!! Go for the ally one.

Regards
Dave H

Hi Dave,
havent checked this thread for a while so appologies for not getting in touch.

The holes in mine have been drilled and tapped. The upper looks like a mistake because it doesnt make it through into an inlet. The lower hole is the one that has the tapped thread and fitting added. I am going to get both filled with weld and ground back / painted. It isnt a problem to do, but I am going to stick with the iron item for the sake of originallity and correctness. I am being a bit sad I know but I have a mental picture of how my RT should be.

Cheers
