It was a bit tired when I got it .... hadn`t had too much in the way of maintenance done. But basically was up and running and needed a good freshen up, body is very straight and all work has been previously done to take a big block.
Don`t know about 11`s ???? .... will have to see

Nice to see it painted correctly, good luck with the ageing. One shot is really hard to move once cured. A lot of people have had good results using oven cleaner. I love it!

Proper job

Jeff .... please correct me if I`m wrong but I was going to do the following tomorrow ( paint will be 24 hrs old ).
1 - Mop down with heavily diluted t. cut, a sponge and plenty of water.
2 - Very carefully rub it down with 1200 grit wet and dry in the direction of the brush strokes ... using plenty of water til I get the look I want.
3 - Rinse down with clean water and leave.
Your paint advice would be appreciated

1 shot dries VERY hard, so be careful with that wet and dry, as the base coat on your car is a LOT less resilient. So if you wet n dry it, you might find the base coat going down to the primer, before you get through the 1 shot.
I suggest doing a test panel before you attack the car. As I said, I have been told oven cleaner works well on the enamel 1 shot.
Good luck mate!

This was a helmet I striped with one shot, its great paint, really easy to use too, some guys are now using it through an airbrush!

You could mask around the lettering to protect car body paint, that would work.
