1968 Valiant - Old school lettering

Post by Jon Connolly »

Got the main lettering on today and will leave to harden over the next week or so. I will then start the ageing and distressing process to try and get that " painted 30 years ago " look.

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

Yes Blue ... I have thanks.
Just came back from Dave Madders / Duncan ... new torque converter, gearbox rebuild, ignition etc etc.
I`m putting on a new trans cooler and lines this week, plus a few other little jobs, and hope to have it out next week ( subject to weather ).
It`s the first 340 mopar / a body I`ve had and I`m impressed with feel of the thing. ( ford rear end )
I`ve weighed it and it is 1260 kg without driver so have to see what it manages ???????

Pete ... my friend did it for me ... good bloke + cheap.
Just need to hover over his shoulder to make sure he spell " tire " correctly.
He is willing to do other cars if required and will travel !
