don't worry mate
i've got a garage....its a tip and i can't face going in it
still haven't unpacked my car from the NATS in july
just can't be arsed at the mo.
but yes they all let in a bit of water and all smell a bit funny and you hate the bloody thing
until you get out and drive it again and get all enthused....
comes and goes

What they all said!
Get a good cover, I took my motor out in a fit of excitement one Sunny day three weeks ago. Intended to do a quick sort and re-fit
Since the weather changed I can't be motivated and it feels like an eternity, but after 6 years of the same ya get used to it.
Car is under a cover.
motor is in the shed being slowly attended too.
no rush, just cost everything in and be patient.
It's worth it in the end

Re: disheartened..!!
[quote="guyver318"]mainly due to a lack of time on my part, i've not been able to play
with my cuda for a while.. finished work early today i thought i'd
start her up an air her out a little..
once the door was open the misery started..
shes been leaking slowly from many little spots..
the carpet in the front foot wells have gone a bit moldy..
the battery is on its way gone..! an too boot one of the tyres
has slowly been going down... the cars parked outside the house so
i dont have the comfort of a cold garage to work on her, or even shield
her from the elements..!!
the whole things left me feeling very down an out about it..
Sell it..............................or get on with it......mines outside 24/7....365 days a year and I don`t worry about it. That`s what cars are made for.

Thanks Mark, that's very generous we can't have disheartened members out there in Moparland!newport100 wrote:Hi Mate
I have a cover systems cover you can borrow long term - I had it on my Cuda and challenger and its a perfect fit and a good cover
I have a garage now so you can borrow it as long as u want-
Guyver, here's a link to the wiper seal kit that me and Stu used on our Barracuda. As Stu says you'll have it done in a day and it's a cheap fix too
