sure did mate drove down from midlands straight on the track and ran 13.1 on 3rd run was well chuffed , seems slow now that time :D

exhaust pipes offered up before balance pipe fitted , also you will see 3x2 chassis connectors and prop loop fitted , connectors make a much firmer ride and launch, must get round to giving the underbody a lick of fresh paint :roll:

Those frame cons are the way i did mine (3x2 box steel) , lift one side & the other side goes up with it.

:shock: Blimey, Jim! I know you said it had needed a lot of welding, but I never realised how much! Looks amazing now. I'd only ever seen this in it's current state, so that's an eye opener. 8-)

Zorst looks brilliant too, Mate. Helps being a welder, having an old motor, I'll bet. :thumbright:

I was looking at it at The Nats and was amazed at the quality of the work done.

thanks for all the compliments guys, theres been more to this resto on my car than you see in the pics but it just shows if you knuckle down anythings poss, must say tho its nice to be mostly using it than spending every night in the garage etc , also owe it to the fella i work for (ian orford ex hemi charger owner) for letting me have the use of the workshop on weekends 4 poster ramp an all that ;) :thumbright:
