There was a 2 door available.... But in a pretty poor state. Needed a lot of work! The 2 doors that were in OK condition, were way out of my price range at the moment!
This car, together with another 727 trans. and 440ci motor, cost me less than 4000 quid! And is REALLY rust free, and running real nice!

So, When I can pick it all up, I have the car, a 440 and a BB 727.....
I need a rear end, as it is an open diff, looks like I need a complete set up as I think this has the early rear that Blue says is a pain in the azz.
So need to get to the junkyard soon.
Then I need to pull the 440 apart to check it out, supposedly only 77K kilometers on it.... We will see!
I want to retain the pushbutton trans for a while. Am I right in thinking there was an adaptor to mate the 440 to the SB 727 trans? If so who does them?
Then I need to replace the rear wheels with wider steels, and put the current rears on the front. The front has 14' diameter wheels on it presently.
The clock don't work, sure I can fix that... But because of current daily car problems it is all becoming a nightmare!

Cheers Dunc. I guess that should be simple enough. I am getting ready to clear the garage out ready for the car.

The car is here, 1 1/2 hour drive from pick up to home, no problems. Get in car, turn on original AM radio, and Elvis singing Jailhouse rock!
This car is original mileage, original factory paint, original everything! And it all works apart from the clock.
Nw just need to pick up motor and trans. It is the local BIG swapmeet this weekend and Mopar Sunday at the track, forecast is good.

Yeah thanks Steve... Got a new washer motor in it today from the local BIG swap meet. Spent 5 hours there, only saw 1/2 of it!
May go back tomorrow, there were some nice 15x8 steel wheels there.
Pics after we got back today...

That's a lovely car Jeff - if it runs well, I would keep it just the way it is.
