cheers John, be good to see how you've done it
I'm hoping that if it's well constructed and I tell a policeman that it's an old Mopar frame then I wouldn't get done - I can't see I've much option otherwise, it's no more dangerous than having a home-made trailer is it?
(I know that EU law doesn't work logically, but sometimes policemen do

if it looks as if it has been on there a long time who is going to notice ?? how many police persons go round looking at tow bars ??? all you have to say is it was on here when I got it , if it is done right it is not going to fall off , mine will have to tear the back end out of the car first !!!

http://www.towequipe.co.uk/categorylist ... ed-towbar/
if its an A body choose chrylser valiant on this site
A body to 72 choose a tow bar for a 66 valiant which is the same size and width as a 68 dart
if its later one choose the wider 72- one
which is wider by i think 6 inches on the body and about 3 at the chassis

wow, cheers Dave
Never thought they'd be available in any form, not over here at least. I will investigate...
Don't suppose you've any experience of these in the flesh have you? I'm always a bit wary of ordering on the basis of a website listing alone
