Welcome Sasha, you will love it on the forum, great bunch and very sociable at the meets etc.... Have you considered importing from the states? Dont think you will find many Hemicudas or 426 Challengers for sale over here... I might be wrong, but Ive been browsing ebay USA and there are some great looking cars for sale there, lots of big block E bodies etc. You can have my 383 C body for 50k if you want..... Hehe, worth a try!!
Cheers Steve

I wish I had a budget like that!
Welcome to the club.
I run a message board for Challenger owners if you want to look into that as well.

I'm guessing that with my budget not quite stretching that far into the suggested range, I would be highly unlikely to get my ideal car but I guess you never know with these types of things - I'll see what pops up!

Yep. Sasha is indeed a Russian name - I was born and grew up the other side of the iron curtain.

I've found this as well - just the obvious major issues with buying cars unseen + the rigmaroll of transport, duties, taxes, etc.

Think lots of companies take the pain out of shipping thes days and if you find a few in same area you could always take a few days out, flight, cheap motel, couple of days car rental and view them all.. A grand or so well spent could pocket you a nice car for the right money maybe?? Whatever you do Sasha, im sure you will land on your feet and will find the right car. An enviable position to be in matey!
When you do find it, people like Ade Worman and Turnip etc, know E bodies inside out and are gents into the bargain.....
Cheers Steve

And I used to know E-bodies inside-out but have forgotten since.

Jim Wilson's Plumb Crazy Hemi Cuda. It is not numbers matching as it was a race car for years. The current engine is a high HP Ray barton engine built to look stock.
But it does have one very rare option. It is "two tone". The white roof is painted instead of vinyl.
And you would be looking at a very large cheque to buy that one.
Wish I could afford it to be honest. It would be great in the "Stock Apearing" race class.

Welcome to the club Sasha!
Good club with good knowledgeable members!
There are some great cars out there, hope you find the right one!!
Keep us posted on progress!
Looks like this club is growing at a good rate after the initial recession biting and numbers dropping. A slow and steady influx!!!

I am proper Cornish, just ended up in Bromley for my formative years. I agree about the Nam though
I went to Ravenswood School, the same as David Bowie

Looks fantastic, but unfortunately my budget is in a different league to how much one of those costs.

Thats a seriously nice car!!! I must admit though, if I had that sort of money to buy a car, I would have a nice plum crazy 440 Cuda, an orange AAR Cuda and if there is anything left over, a nice straight but tired 71 Challenger 383 to tinker with

..... Dont want much for my 200k, do I?!
