I agree, hence the 'Glide question - it's just an(other) area where I do not have the knowledge.........

Pete pretty sure I have a spare 8bolt flex plate for conversion, and probably spacers etc, and not sure if they're the same, got an adapter bell housing for a th400, don't know if it's the same as glide pump mounting,

unless the car is very light also making in excess of 900 hp stick with the 727 it will hurt the launch / 60ft otherwise

Duncan - it will be a very light car.

Also the A727 may be too long, another reason for considering a 'Glide or maybe a TH400.

As I said earlier, I don't know enough about Chubby stuff :read2: :read2: :read2:

all our super pro cars rail dragsters or altereds all run glides mate. Not sure if you will have a go in MSA meets if you do remember we do rolling burnouts not sure if 727s like that treatment . Adapted glide would be the best route I think just my view of course :)

Thank you to all who have posted - either for advice or offers of parts.

It really is appreciated.

I will have to see what transpires (no pun intended) and then plan accordingly...

Cheers again

Pete
