Do you have to cut the bellhousing off like you were using an ultrabell so you can get it to marry up with the back of the B R/B Block???

How much bhp and torque can it take???

:read2:
As for the hp I don know out of my head if it makes a difference if you 'keep out of the overdrive' on the track for example but I'm sure most real streetused cars won't have trouble with it.

We have them with the stock bellhousing cut off and have a complete new alloy bellhousing mounted. Can see the brand at this moment as the one on the shelf is still completely packed and stuffed in a box and the one under our coronet testcar is taken out for a spin. Will try to snap a pic when it's on the lift.

Can tell it took a bump here and there in the floor hump but nothing major, besides that fab a transmission crossmember, need some adapter fittings for the cooling lines, and make some wiring / plumbing to let it all work if you don want any switches on the dash.

When, in the end, it's all working flawless we'll try to make an article on it to show.

For a hot street car is sounds like a really good option - it would not worry me if I had to manually switch in an out of overdrive - I tend to drive RMPVB cars anyway....I Look forward to the article and maybe seeing an example at the Nats!!!!

Dave R's use of a floor mounted dip switch to trigger the Overdrive is a great idea too!!!1

i think they can take lots of hp that cummins job can make 1000ft torque but that is a heavier version, they need a good cooler they actually have much bigger cooler lines,

Dunc

The one I`ve got came from USA and has ALLEGEDLY been built for 800 HP and got the overdrive planetry from the heavy duty V10 / diesel trans. Needle bearing convertor, transgo shift kit, kevlar bands + kolene steels.

But I would want you to pull it apart anyway before I used it.

Am I right in thinking it will bolt straight up to the back of a Magnum gayblock anyway ???
