I think Dave's too busy running the business, but he'd do a great job Pete.
I have carefully considered Dunc's suggestions and will put them to the committee...

How about Don........
One hell of a car to lead the club, nice bloke and is of chairman type stature (mature).
Can't think of anyone else who hasnt already said no.
I would have said Pete and Ade Worman are in the same catergory regards standing in the club and overall Mope knowledge (important as chairman for me).
Not that i would expect many would want it anway, but i would not put myself forward for the hot seat.
I Lack knowledge.....I still count myself as new within the club (re: backing). Too young to hold the reigns over such a rowdy bunch......Etc Ect.
Like many i suppose, its mainly that i have a young family and other than lunch break and evenings when i'm on here loitering, i just don't have the time..........I would not do it as i like to put 100% into eveything i do. I wont start what i can't finish. Ask my car!
So.....
Don, Pete or Ade for me!

I'd love to do it but would have to ban 2 doors !!
Joking !!!
Dave Bishop. Vast Mope knowledge and bloody nice bloke. But again a very busy man at the moment .
Don. (Another smashing chap ) Step up to the podium !

At the risk of being a tiny bit serious for a moment, I would be honoured to take on the role.
However (and Ivor knows the detail, which I will not go into here) due to Work and importantly family committments, I am not in a position to take this on (assuming you Buggers actually wanted me!!!) at this time.
I am sure you will find a much better candidate in any case.

Nice comments guys and thank you, but I am just way too busy at this time, just not enough hours in the day for me to be able to concentrate on taking this great club forward as it so deserves.
ps. Gary, your vote doesn't count due to your wish to ban 2 doors, and if I were chairman I would move that you be excluded from the club for such comments

Yes, I had a good long chat to Pete, and he has WAY too much on his plate at the moment and Don, like me is trying to run a business, it's not easy juggling the two...just look at me, I had hair when I started this job!
Martin is a good though Brian, but he too is running his own business and is in the process of building the new MMA web site, which has thrown up some very difficult issues transferring the archives across to the new site, so he's up to his eyes in it.
HOWEVER! I do have an offer from someone we all know and love, who would be happy to take over as of January 2015 and he'd be perfect for the job, but business commitments mean he can't take it on for a year.
If anyone would like to step in for a year,,,just give me a shout!

Yes I remember hair Ivor, seems a long time ago though!
Come on - spill the beans on who its going to be next year, and PLEASE don't tell me its Mr. Runner

Mister Runner will only be able to do it if he promises to be nice.
So that's him out then Don!

Dave 999 is being very quiet about this.

He could do it or Rob Twin.

I'm not sure what you mean there Steve, my rather unusual voice over technique or the opportunity to advertise the vacancy!
Or are you offering your services big boy!
