Where's our new Chairman?

Post by Ivor »

Well, it's now six years I've been waving the MMA flag and it's time for me to step down, so I can get back in the shed and sort myself out a new Mopar!

I did announce this in Connected and previously on the board and I was expecting a flood of offers and suggestions as to who might like to take on this vital role and inject some new life into the club!

Don't be shy, if you have the enthusiasm to take on the role of Chairman of the best Muscle Car Club there is, or you have a suggestion as to who you think may be the perfect candidate please let me know.

You can post here, send me an email or a PM.

It's not an onerous job, the days when I used to get questions like "how do you set the ignition timing on a 383" on the phone at 10pm on a Sunday evening are long gone, everyone posts their technical questions here and they get much better answers!

There's a great little team of volunteers behind the scenes, there's no politics or nonsense and everyone helps everyone else out. It would be great to kick off the new look MMA web site with a new Chairman, so come on...let's have you!

:D

Get your application in then!

I've just spoken to Pete and he's got too much on his plate at the moment, or he would be perfect.

Matt has already done a full stint as Chairman already!

I've asked Derek and he's happy as the MMA's PR man...and I'm not holding up Blue with his build on the Valiant!

Come along, Jon's up for it and he thinks I'm not taking him seriously!

If anyone wants to know what's involved just drop me a PM ;)

As future King, my first law passed would be the printing of MMA stickers.
