think of them as Cars of American Origin....if they used a US platform...given that the rear end of many a 70s holden looks like the back end of a pontiac and the "Open mouth" front end has 70s camaro all over it

still just an HB/HC Viva with a bigger motor and a lucky driver in my opinion

if CAL had stuck a hemi 6 in a hillman hunter then maybe my opinion would differ.

Aussie Valiants need a home here. I Think the Rootes group clubs just look on us as the cookoo who pushed their beloved Singer Hillman and Humber eggs out of the nest and replaced them with chromed plastic rust and prodigious fuel consumption.

Good meetup is the "Classic Car Club" at the Riverview cafe in Forest Row on 2nd Sunday of each month, from 11 ish.

Or, on a smaller scale, the local rednecks meet at the Berwick Inn at Berwick from 12.00 ish on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Thats the one jon, i doubt there will be much interest on here though all well to old n past it pie n a pint n talkin bollax this lot drillin for oil is a long gone memory,,,,
