I still need to shorten my axle, order half shafts, fit new diff, make it all fit together...

If you dont sort it just stick a bit of race fuel in, that will stop it detonating down track.
It's got to be timing or carb related, if carb related Dave Robson or possibly Pete is your man for six pack.
I thought John had looked at the timing ?

*Prime and paint the replacement lower front panel.....Then fit it!
*Fit new gas tank vent line with inline valve.
*Stop an oil leak on the pan.
*Test drive the car for a prolonged period and see what goes wrong.

If time allows: Do some fiberglass work, priming, painting and possibly fitting of my other hood.

It runs great on race fuel and I've got a 5 gallon drum ready for the Nats but it's costing me a small fortune. John checked the timing at North Weald and it was spot on. That leaves the carbs. If I touch it I'll make it worse so more than happy for Pete to give it the once over. [-o<

Now new oil pump in and up and running, I have to stop the rocker covers leaking all very well having nice alloy after market covers but bloody useless really. Uh so much to do so little time to do it.

Going up Sat afternoon cant get Friday or sat morning off, poxy Railway.

Only the new hood to fit this weekend and a final check over. Next week give the lorry and caravan thorough service and clean ... :thumbright:
